UN warns of civilians killed in air strikes Syria
When air attacks in Syria should soldiers be more careful to work, thus the High Commissioner for human Rights of the United Nations Friday. According to Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein, there are far too many civilians killed in attacks on Islamic State.
In his own words he calls on all the soldiers that are active in the area, such as the coalition under the US leadership.
“The increasing number of civilians that air strikes in Deir al-Zor and Raqqa to the life, suggests that there are insufficient precautions in attack are taken,” noted the High Commissioner out of tune.
The reaction of Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein follows an investigation by the U.s. armed forces, the results of which Thursday became known. When it turned out that in march more than a hundred civilians have been killed by an American air strike on a building in the Iraqi city of Mosul. The air attack was directed against the two snipers. Both the US and their Iraqi allies did not know that civilians were present in the building.
