UN to resume food drops besieged Syrian town of Deir al-Zor
The world food programme of the United Nations (UN) has the luchtdroppings of food resumes by Islamic State (IS) besieged Syrian town of Deir al-Zor.
That made the world food programme Tuesday known. In the besieged city are still approximately 93.500 people present.
Since april of last year, there are 177 hulpvluchten performed over Deir al-Zor.
That the deliveries were in mid-January stopped, after fighters of the drop zone is conquered. Now there is a new landing area in use, according to the UN organisation.
