Ubisoft confirms development Beyond Good & Evil 2
Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good & Evil 2 in development.
Developer Michel Ancel placed last week, all of different drawings of a not yet announced game, where people already accepted that the Beyond Good & Evil 2 went.
This week let Ancel know that the game is in pre-production, and now publisher Ubisoft confirmed it.
“If you was waiting on news about Beyond Good & Evil… than this!”, for example, the official Facebook page of the game. “We are delighted to confirm that Michel Ancel at this time, with Ubisoft Montpellier to a new Beyond Good & Evil-game works.”
Ubisoft Montpellier has previously, among other things, Rayman Origins and Legends worked and has also contributed to the upcoming game Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Further details about the new game, including release date and systems where the game appears, are not yet known.
The first Beyond Good & Evil was released in 2003. The game received rave reviews, but was relatively little sold.
A sequel was already several times discussed, and Ubisoft released a video demo in which a sequel was to be seen. The development seemed, however, to a standstill
