Transport for London (TfL), rejected the Silicon Valley company’s license application for renewal in 2017, is due to the shortcomings that it said that it found in its approach to the reporting of serious criminal offences, and driver background checks, you will be asked for legal action.

A judge in 2018, then, given the Uber (UBER.(N) a trial period of a 15-month subscription, which will expire on Dec. 25, after the company had made several changes to its business model and, in London, in the principal market at the time.

TfL said the new, two-month license is provided by “new conditions, and to provide for the safety and security of passengers,” and wanted to find out more information on the company’s business.

“Uber London Limited has been granted a two-month private hire operator’s licence to allow for the review of the additional information that we request, in advance of consideration of any subsequent license application,” according to a spokesman.

Uber said it will work closely with TfL and to provide any additional information.

“We will continue to listen, learn, and improve, in order to provide the best service, as a trusted partner in London,” said Jamie Heywood, Uber’s Regional General Manager for North america and western Europe.

The 2017 license to lose, there was only a few weeks after its Chief Executive Dara Khosrowshahi took over and it became a test of his ability to appease the regulators as well as the app will be faced with the resolution of any disputes with rival companies, and the government is in a range of industries.

The management of the city’s traditional black cabs, have been lobbying hard for an extension, after a long period of tightened security, labor standards, and the reduction of their business model.

Uber (UBER.(N) said to the more than 45,000 drivers in the city, and enjoy the flexibility of their work, and that it has taken a number of measures to improve safety for its passengers.

The new conditions imposed by the R-cover ride-sharing, with the appropriate insurance coverage, and driver document checks by Uber.

Uber received a five-year license in 2012, but the co-ride-from-service ice cream Parlor was only a 15-month right of use of the earlier this year, in a sign that the regulator wants to have more power than the new-comers.

Mayor, Sadiq Khan, who is also the chairman of TfL, has been a long-time critic of Uber, told LBC radio last month, and that they need to play by the rules.

“You know, my track record stands up against the big boys, and they are his servants, and to make sure that everyone is playing by the rules,” he told his listeners to phone-in. “I don’t care how many lawyers you have, or how big the PR budget.
