Uber said that the new production XC90 will be presented by Volvo Cars in Sweden, and human controls, such as steering wheels and brake pedals, but it has been added into the factory-installed steering and braking systems have been designed for the computer rather than the control of the person.

Previously, Uber had bought it for about 250, and Volvo XC90 sport utility vehicles (Suv ‘ s and post them up for self-propelled use.

The new vehicle, known by the internal code number, 519G, and is under development for a number of years, are more secure, more reliable, and will “soon” replace the older vehicles in the Uber fleet, said Eric Meyhofer, and the head of the Uber Advanced Technologies of the Group.

“It’s about to go into production,” said Meyhofer, in an interview with an Uber-conference in Washington on Tuesday.

The new vehicle also has back-up systems for both steering and braking functions, and a battery back-up power and new cyber security solutions.

Uber is ready to deliver the vehicles without the human control, Meyhofer said.

“We’re still in for a real hybrid, it says,” Meyhofer said. “We have to get there, and we’re not going to get into the thousands of cars in a city during the night. It’s going to be a slow introduction to it.”

The new XC90 cars are equipped with an interior of the fish-eye camera in order to locate lost and found, Uber said. They also have a not operator, since self-driving cars, which have a large sensor on the roof, and are equipped with automatic doors to prevent unsafe departures.

Uber, which has received about a dozen or so prototypes of the new car, but it has not yet been implemented, they are on the public right of way, and said that the car’s self-driving system, which will one day provide safe, reliable, autonomous, ridesharing, without the need for the safety and security of the driver.

Asked whether Uber will be the implementation of self-driving cars, without the safety and security of drivers and a limited number of areas in the years to come, and Meyhofer, said “yes” way to do it.” However, he added that Uber wants to be in the good graces of the confidence and trust of the general public, and regulatory confidence for the purpose of making the business decision to implement it.

In December, Uber will resume some sort of limited self-driving car testing on public roads in Pittsburgh, and nine months after it suspended the program after a fatal accident in Arizona.

In March 2018, with the authorities in Arizona, is suspended Uber’s ability to test its self-driving car, following one of the XC90 car struck and killed a woman crossing the street at night, in the Phoenix suburb of Tempe, Uber’s biggest test experience. The crash was the first death to be attributed to a self-driving car.

In March, 2019 at the latest, prosecutors in Arizona said the company was not criminally liable and can be held in a self-driving crash, and would not be pursuing charges. Uber shut down for testing in Arizona, but plans to eventually resume testing in the Toronto and San Francisco, california, Meyhofer said.

The death prompted significant concerns about safety in the burgeoning self-driving car industry, this is a race for vehicles in commercial use.

Volvo Cars Chief Executive Hakan Samuelsson said in a statement that “by the middle of the next decade, we expect that one-third of all the cars we have for sale can be completely autonomous.

Volvo Cars, owned by the chinese Geely Automobile Holdings limited, a similar organic base vehicle and a concept for the introduction of the first commercially-available autonomous drive technology in the early 2020.

Volvo, Uber said it is in 2017 and that the travel company planned to purchase up to 24,000 of self-driving cars from Volvo, from 2019 to 2021, with the aid of the self-driving system, which was developed by the Uber Advanced Technologies of the Group. An Uber spokeswoman said on Tuesday that the company plans to work with Volvo on the tens of thousands of vehicles in the future.”

Other companies have also engaged in the implementation of self-driving vehicles are limited in a number of areas.

General Motors Co. in January, 2018 and sought approval from US regulators for the implementation of a stage-a part of the fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles without the steering wheel controls or other checks by the end of 2019 at the latest, however, is still struggling to win the approval of the supervisor. Alphabet, Inc Waymo unit, and a robotaxi service in Arizona, said last month that the co-operation with the Lyft Inc. must have more time.
