Uber launches maaltijdbezorgdienst in Amsterdam

Taxi company, Uber is in Amsterdam now also meals to deliver, with the help of bike couriers. In doing so, existing bezorgplatforms as Thuisbezorgd.nl, Deliveroo and Foodora a competitor.
The service, called UberEATS, start Thursday. Ordering is simple via an app, which is actually in the same way as consumers in Uber, a taxi booking.
Examples of connected restaurants are the Mayor, Juice & Salads, Yogurt Barn, and Nooch. Uber tries to direct a significant share of the market to get by in the first few months of no delivery fees.
In 2009 founded, Uber is seen as the most valuable start-up in the world. Uber now offers taxi rides in more than four hundred major cities in the world. In Amsterdam has Uber because of this, even though tens of thousands of users.
In the past year in Amsterdam and other Dutch cities are also the startups Foodora and Deliveroo has grown rapidly. They also deliver meals from restaurants with the bike.
