U.s. Senate approves appointment of Betsy DeVos to minister for education, well
The U.s. Senate approved Tuesday the appointment of billionaire Betsy DeVos as the minister of Education well, after vice-president Mike Pence has the casting vote released.
According to employees of the Senate is not unprecedented that a vice-president, his voice had to use a bit more to break in the appointment of a cabinet member.
The Senate was exactly in two halves divided, after two Republican senators joined 46 Democratic and two independent opponents of the appointment added. According to the opponents DeVos does not have enough experience with education.
