Two U.s. soldiers killed in Iraq
Two U.s. soldiers during a mission in Northern Iraq to the life to come. Five others were injured in the mission on Sunday.
This is reported in the international coalition to combat terrorist group Islamic State (IS). The first reports indicate that the incident not happened during direct contact with the enemy.
The American commander of the coalition, general Stephen Townsend, stated that the soldiers died in the battle against a “cruel enemy”. It IS affiliated news agency Amaq informed a short time later that the soldiers were killed as a result of a raketbeschieting of the extremists in a village near the northern Iraqi city of Tell Afar.
The United States lead the international anti-IS coalition. With U.s. air support and military advisers on the ground, conquered the Iraqi army in July, IS-stronghold of Mosul. In the north of the country have the jihadists still control a number of areas.
