Officers surrounded an apartment complex where a gunman, reportedly in his 30s barricaded himself in the San Diego Union-Tribune reported.
The surrounding street was closed.
Around 11 o’clock in the evening, a SWAT team went in. About 20 minutes later, authorities had a suspect in custody.
But it was later confirmed that the suspect was not the shooter.
At least one person was taken to a hospital. That person’s medical condition is not known.
