BLANCHARD, Idaho – Two Bonner County sheriff’s deputies were shot Monday in the north of Idaho, but they were expected to recover.

Coeur d’alene police Detective Jared Reneau said the delegates were both shot three times, but their injuries were not life-threatening. They were in the surgery Monday afternoon.
The Spokesman said reports of the deputies were shot about 11:30 p.m. while trying to arrest a man with a warrant in Blanchard, Idaho. The suspect was also shot. His condition was not immediately known. The names of the agents and the defendant is not released immediately.
The authorities say that Kootenai County officials are investigating.
