Twitter has users from all over the world today

If you are experiencing a Twitter outage, you’re not alone. This morning, May 19, the popular social media network began experiencing technical problems, with users around the world reporting difficulties accessing their accounts.

In the first part of the morning, Twitter was for people along the east coast of the United States, the united kingdom and parts of Asia, including Japan and South Korea. In the first instance, it seems as if there is just a problem with the sending of tweets, Twitter (on Twitter) at approximately 2 pm ET, “Earlier today, some users experienced problems with the sending of Tweets, this problem is now solved, thank you for your patience.”

But apparently the problem is not solved and indeed worsened for some people, this is that users who try to access the site on both mobile and desktop saw an error message that read, “Something is technically wrong.”

Twitter has acknowledged the problem, the place around 8:45 this morning, “Some users are currently experiencing problems with access to Twitter And Tweeting. We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution.” Of course, that these issues were not able to in fact access to this message.

While Twitter seemed to regain his composure around 10:15 this morning around parts of the east coast (at least, for the Digital Trends of the staff), the Down Detector map still shows that there are a number of problems in the surrounding areas, including Washington D. C. and other parts of New York. The united kingdom and parts of Mexico are also intermittent problems. As for the Asian countries, Japan and South Korea, Twitter, seems to be completely out. Users have taken to move Down the Detector page to post updates and voice their frustrations.
