Twitter co-founder Evan Williams steps down from the board of directors

(Reuters) – Twitter Inc said on Friday one of the co-founders Evan Williams, will retire as a member of the board of directors at the end of the month.

Williams, who also announced that the movement in a series of tweets, is currently the chief executive officer of online publishing site Medium and had also served as the CEO of Twitter.

“I’m very lucky to have served on the @Twitter board for 12 years (since there was a board). They are very interesting, educational and sometimes challenging,” he tweeted here
