TV-to give networks a protest Dems’ decision, MSNBC exclusive access convention

C-SPAN, Fox News, CBS News, CNN, and ABC News have teamed up to formally protest against the South Carolina, the democratic party of the decision .

C-SPAN, Fox News, CBS News, CNN, and ABC News have joined together to formally protest against the South Carolina, the democratic party, the decision to give MSNBC exclusive access to air live coverage on Saturday of its 2019 Convention that at least 21 of the party “Europe 2020” presidential hopefuls.

MSNBC has the live broadcasting rights, which comes with a three-hour embargo on footage for journalists from other stores-but the big five networks, the decision will be reversed.

C-SPAN programming Vice President Terry Murphy, Fox News Washington Bureau Chief Bryan Boughton, and DC-Bureau-chiefs of CBS, CNN and ABC a letter signed on Thursday addressed to state democratic party Chairman Trav Robertson — and to Democratic National Committee Chairman, Tom Perez, and house majority whip Rep. James Clyburn.

“South Carolina is a critical state in the presidential nomination process and Convention is the largest collection to date of 2020, the Democratic candidate,” the letter said. “We believe it should be made available to each accredited media outlet without embargoes, restrictions, or other restrictions.”

The letter said: “the political parties have always had a tradition of open access to the media,” but the South Carolina Democrats ” restrict decision-making to the live coverage on MSNBC is the “opposite of openness.”

“It is also with respect that it could create a precedent that, ultimately, serious citizens to limit access to other important presidential election events,” the letter said. “We ask that you reverse that decision and allow their state party Convention to go to, without any restrictions.”

The South Carolina, which will allow the democratic party, MSNBC-experts Al Sharpton and joy Reid exclusive access to the 2020 presidential hopefuls.

A state democratic party insider told Fox News, MSNBC, pay for the exclusive rights but the production covers the cost. The insider also said that the liberal network plans, Joy Reid, Al Sharpton broadcast from inside the Convention, and many of the 2020 candidates to speak to the MSNBC host’s remarks to her on the stage.

Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, John Delaney, Bill de Blasio, Tulsi Gabbard, Kirsten Gillibrand, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Beto O’rourke, Elizabeth Warren, Eric Swalwell, and Bernie Sanders to the high-profile scheduled candidates to speak of the event, the only air live on MSNBC.

According to her appearances on the network, will be allowed to speak to the candidate to other members of the press. But the arrangement with MSNBC, C-SPAN executives has angered, as similar events are usually open to all news organizations for live coverage.

Earlier in the week, C-SPAN political editor Steve Scully told Fox News he was “really disappointed” and a “bad taste” was left in his mouth on MSNBC, receive exclusive access.

“You shoot yourself in the foot,” said Scully.
