Three rebel groups that fight are concerned confirm this IS from the Al-Bab is driven out. “We are pleased to announce that Al-Bab is fully liberated, and that we are now working on its mines to clean up in the residential areas,” said a spokesman of one of those groups.
Wednesday ran the spokesperson of Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the conquest of Al-Bab. That is an important step on the road to ‘capital’ Raqqa, according to Ibrahim Kalin. Furthermore, it would, according to Kalin prove that there is an alternative for the Kurdish militia YPG in the fight against IS.
