Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard makes comments. Former U.S. Secretary of state Hillary Clinton was invited to the event but has pulled himself since then.
Democratic 2020 hopeful Tulsi Gabbard criticized the lack of transparency in their own party, impeachment inquiry in President Trump.
Speaking at the Fortune most powerful women dinner at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington in the night of Wednesday, Gabbard said, a lack of clarity could “undermine the integrity” of the investigation.
“Pursuing the prosecution for political reasons, is bad for our country,” she said. “It will be extremely divisive for an already divided country. I looked at the complaint and was very worried. We need to go to the bottom of this.”

“It is a transparent and narrowly focused investigation has to-I’m disappointed with the lack of transparency,” she said. “They were behind closed doors.”

Gabbard’s appearance came shortly after she fired the last shot in their ongoing feud with Hillary Clinton.
In a new campaign video Tuesday, Gabbard published Clinton, attacked her calls for the “recognition of the damage that you’ve caused” and “step down from your throne.”
The video is Gabbard’s latest response to Clinton’s proposal that Gabbard was a Russian asset, and the “darling of the Russians” in an interview.
Clinton also claimed that Russia will “maintain the third-party candidate”, in relation to Gabbard 2020 candidacy.

“Hillary, your foreign policy is a disaster for our country and the world what the death and injury of so many of my brothers and sisters in uniform, wreaking havoc on entire countries, millions of lives lost, refugee crises,” and more, said Gabbard.
“However, despite the damage they have done to our country and the world, they want to continue their failed policy, directly or indirectly, by the Democratic candidates.”
She added: “It is time for you to recognize the damage they have caused and want to apologize for it. It is long past time for you to step down from your throne, so that the democratic party can lead a new foreign policy that is actually in the interest of and for the benefit of the American people and the world.”
Gabbard, an army veteran who served in the Iraq war, had said Monday that they open with a “face-to-face” with Clinton. This, according to presidential fellow hopefuls Bernie Sanders, sen, I-Vt.; Sen. Cory Booker, D-N. J., former Texas Rep. Beto O’rourke, entrepreneur Andrew Yang and spiritual author Marianne Williamson pushed back on Clinton’s unfounded presumption that you are a secret Russian capital.

President Trump on Monday also weighed, told reporters, “you [Clinton] accused of it all, a Russian agent.”
