Donald Trump’s lawyers defended the President against the indictment on Saturday to argue tomorrow, is it the Democrats, to disrupt the attempt, in elections, by trying to remove trump from the year 2020 ballot for doing “absolutely nothing wrong.”

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, said Democrats have no case and are to the detriment of democracy by trying to undermine the will of American voters.

“For all your you on to talk about the choice of disorders, they are here to commit the most massive interference in the elections in American history,” said Cipollone, in his greeting to the Senate. “And we can’t let that happen. It would be against our Constitution. It would be against our history.

“It would be against our obligations for the future. And most importantly, it would be against the sacred trust that the American people have brought and that you have placed in them. The American people to decide elections. They come in nine months.”

On Saturday, the first chance was Trump’s lawyers had to withdraw from the house the case of the prosecution and they came up with making a powerful case, remove that there are no reasons trump out of the office. Not only Democrats are asking the Senate to undo the results of the election in 2016, to make to tear, but until all the ballots in the 2020 election, in the case of the Trump name, Cipollone calculated.

Trump calls on Democrats to push for impeachment

“Fox and friends” hosts, weigh in on the Democrats’ arguments in the trombone removal procedure.

“Ask you to do something, no Senate has ever done, and they ask you to do it with no evidence. And this is wrong,” said Cipollone.

Trump’s legal team have three days and up to 24 hours, you start your defense the same amount of time as a house Manager.

The fifth day of impeachment proceedings began around 9:50 a.m. with a procession from the house managers and their assistants wheeling the 28,578-page trial record, the Secretary of the Senate. The folders and files on the cart is transported, serve as a permeant historical record of the evidence is against Trump. Democrats believe that the record should have thousands of pages more, if the White house had not foiled their attempts to documents in connection with the handling of the Ukraine.

The house managers, led by Rep. Adam Schiff, a rise of two-thirds of the Senate to condemn Trump on the two articles of impeachment, especially when Democrats are in the minority with 47 seats, and the GOP senators with little political incentives to defy Trump, the extremely popular with his Republican base.

Instead, you win, ship, and Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-NY, checked, two key GOP swing voters in this week with unforced errors in the Senate. Both Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Lisa Murkowski, R-Ala., said they were upset that Nadler accused the Republicans to deny a “cover-up” for a “treacherous voice,” the new witness. Nadler language and Cipollone, the whipping back that should be asked Nadler “embarrassing” to warn Chief Justice John Roberts, both sides.

And ship brought CBS News ” coverage of Friday night, the GOP senators warned, “your head on a pike,” if you vote against Trump. Republicans moaned on ship-assertion and Collins, visibly upset, shook her head in the Senate loud, and shot back at the ship: “that’s Not true!”

House impeachment Manager spent arguing for the last three days, that Trump must be removed from office, because he put his own interests, to examine the national security, the pressure on the Ukraine, his political opponents, former Vice-President, Joe Biden, and the reluctance of almost $400 million in security assistance to a country at war with Russia.

Gently choreographed presentations based on videos of witnesses, and slide shows, the seven house Democrats drilled home the narrative Trump must be arraigned, abused, to advertise his oath of office, a foreign choice-to increase inference exclusively, 2020 his re-election chances and the Congress impeded the investigation when he’s caught.

The Democrats argue that Trump’s high crimes and misdemeanors are such an insult to the Constitution and a threat to the fairness of the 2020 election, the senators have to, remove him from office immediately, rather than waiting for the voters to decide at the ballot box in November.

To defy “when he [Trump] is not removed from office, if he is permitted, the Convention fully, to say categorically that subpoenas from Congress an impeachment inquiry of nonsense, then we have lost … to hold all the power, president responsible,” Nadler, D-NY, said. “This is a provision that the President of the Trump that he wants, that he is Almighty. He has no respect for the Congress. He has not the representatives of the people respect that. Only his will is. He is a dictator. This must not stand, and that is another reason he must be removed from office.”

With little hope of winning a conviction in the GOP-controlled Senate, the Democrats your attention to force a vote on the calling of new witnesses and obtain White house documents that the support of only 51 senators-or four GOP customer loss.

A further vote on witnesses is expected next week, after Trump, the defense team finished its arguments and the senators 16 hours of questioning to both sides.
