Hillary Clinton President Trumps budget proposal Tuesday, say hit, it shows an “unimaginable level of cruelty,” for millions of Americans, and children.
Clinton suggested against the President on the expenditure of the plan in accordance with the honor, in New York City, the Children’s Health Fund, a nonprofit organization that helps health care for the poor and homeless children.
“This administration and the Republicans in Congress are to climb, a rush against the needs of children and people with disabilities, women and seniors,” Clinton said.
She added that the budget, which was released earlier in the day “shows an incredible degree of cruelty and lack of imagination and contempt for the struggles of millions of Americans, including millions of children. None of us can be silent in the face of these attacks.”
Trump’s budget calls for a drastic rollback of programs for the poor and disabled, together with a robust hike for the military and border protection. The plan does not become law, without congressional approval, is laced with $3.6 trillion in cuts to domestic agencies, food stamps, Medicaid, highway funding, crop insurance, and medical research, among others.
“It hurts, the well-being of children,” Clinton said. “It is not time to send a resounding message that we will stand for this attack on the most vulnerable among us.”
Earlier in the month, Clinton launched a new political organization to push back against Trump on the agenda. She said the group will encourage “people to engage, organize, and even run for office.”
