Trump’s booming economy in 2020 Dems will struggle to find the negative spin

nearvideo-Bernie Sanders calls for democratic socialism, a “vibrant democracy”

Several of the 2020 Democratic candidates are scrambling to have a negative spin on the state of the economy, with some reliance on false or exaggerated suggestions of the workers to keep you have two or three jobs just to “survive” in the United States

Sens. Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders and former Rep. Beto O’rourke – all three leading Democrats for the presidential nomination runs for the party have asserted, in any form, that employees difficulties in the economy, so far the odds are defied, with a record-low unemployment rate.

HARRIS RISES IN THE YEAR 2020, THE POLL SHOWS THAT BIDEN AND SANDERS ON TOP

“Yeah, well, I’ve been on the road, our country. The people work. They work two and three jobs to pay the bills. It is the work for the work is not people.”

— Kamala Harris

“[They say:] ‘the economy is great, he does great for all.’ And then you ask them, well how is that? Well, you are point for the stock market. Well, that’s good, if you own shares. Then you will ask, what is your measure? And you talk well, the unemployment rate down. This is fine,” Harris said, allegedly, in the choice of combat multiple times.

“Yeah, well, I’ve been on the road, our country. The people work. They work two and three jobs to pay the bills. It is the work for the work is not people,” she added.

But, as the Washington Post, the fact checker notes, Harris’ much-repeated talking point seems to be not backed up by the data, such as the number of people who have two or more jobs is very small and decreasing.

Only 251,000 workers out of a total of 156 million people with jobs had two full-time jobs in the last month. This is a decrease of almost 100,000 such people, in comparison to last year, according to the Bureau of labor Statistics. In General, there are 7.8 million people, more than a job.

WHY DEMOCRATS WANT TO ABOLISH THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE, PACK THE SUPREME COURT

Sanders, of the leading Democrats in the polls so far, has to work on the test bench, after reporting last week that “millions of Americans who are forced to do two or three jobs, just to survive.”

While his claim is less imprecise when compared to Harris, according to the Post, he falsified the data and hide the fact that the millions of people who in fact have more than one job, work mostly part time instead of full time.

In fact, only 5 percent of the entire American workforce, more than a job, is not want to the impression Sanders, for his comments.

To work “millions of Americans who are forced, two or three jobs, just to survive.”

At the same time, O’rourke, the much-revered Democrat from El Paso, Texas, who criticized, often in front of it, political peculiarities, made a misstep shy away from similar to those of Sanders and Harris.

“I’ve already shared with you that many work second or third jobs — in fact, in Texas, half of your colleagues have a second or third job just to put food on the table,” he said in Iowa last week.

The fact checker points out, that in this case, O’rourke and his team insisted that his claim was in respect of the teacher rather than the General workforce, but even then, the Democrat, is a dubious, self-selected survey, from Texas, found that 39 percent of the teachers expect to take additional jobs outside of the classroom editions of the family seems to be.

At the same time, the U.S. Department of Education study used the results from a representative sample that 17 percent of the teachers in the South, and 18 percent nationwide, you had to increase your income with a job outside of your school, the reported Post.

This is significantly lower than the O’rourke’s assertion that “half” of the teachers to work the second or third Job.

The Democrats’ negative spin on the economy in terms of people working more than one job was tested for the first time from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in an interview with PBS, where she struck, the unemployment rate is low, thanks to people, the more jobs.

“The unemployment rate is low, because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people work 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their family,” she said.

The comments were fact-checkers by Post, the awarding of Four Pinocchios.

However, in 2020 the Democrats seem to have learned to avoid from the episode directly, the connection between people holding more than one job, to the low unemployment rate.
