When Congress reconvenes in the year 2019, the Democrats, the majority hold in the house – setting up a potential contentious legislative battles, President Trump.

With taxes, Democrats, head of house committees, controlling investigations and processing of calls will have a charge. The incoming house ways and means Committee Chairman may also trump the tax return.

Read on for a look at seven Congress leaders, which is sure to be a thorn in Trump’s side.

Justice Committee – Jerry Nadler

As the incoming Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Rep. Jerry Nadler, will lead the panel could begin the process, to accuse trump. Oversight Committee – Elijah Cummings

As the incoming Chairman of the Oversight Committee, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., is broad investigative power in the house and he is already running on the ground.

Washington, Rep. Adam Smith already has plans to push back against some of the Trump administration’s proposals, if he assumes the chairmanship of the House Armed Services Committee – specifically refers to the border security and the “Space Force.”

Trump “misunderstanding the problem” at the border, Smith said after a recent Breakfast, according to The Daily Herald. The members of Congress also trump chastised for the deployment of troops to the U.S.-Mexico border before the caravan of migrants is expected to cross that you try, in the United States for asylum, calling it a “misuse of our soldiers.”

“The challenge we face today is different,” Smith, 53, said. “It is asylum seekers. You don’t need to build, the sneak in more security, because people don’t try to. Turn in [to get] through the process. I do not deny there has been a significant increase in people applying for asylum, but the solution is not to harden the border. The solution is to hire more judges and to speed up the process.”


As with Trump’s call for a new “Space Force” military branch, Smith said, it’s a party “remains the overarching concern about the creation of a separate branch of the military” – including some officials of the Ministry of defence.

Smith previously said that he hoped that the Congress and the Committee could came back “to the step, where the White house, in order to ensure that our military deals with possibilities,” not in the best interests.

The Committee On Foreign Affairs Eliot Engel

To investigate Rep. Eliot Engel at the helm, the house Committee on Foreign Affairs, plans, and the interactions between the White house and the Trump organization with foreign companies, according to The Washington Post.

“The White house needs to be taken seriously, and if you don’t do it, we will make sure that you take us seriously,” the New York Democrat told the newspaper that he “intend[s], with all the reservations that I have, to be sure, oversight.”

Angel, 71, said that the Committee has failed to have a proper oversight in the last few years, and he hopes to change that.

“What bothers me, is Trump’s fly-by-the-seat-of-the-pants diplomacy,” he told The journal News. “Whatever he tweets will be from the policy.”

Appropriations Committee Nita Lowey

“We are not the financing of Trump, the border wall,” Lowey, The journal News said. “We are investing in other programs that make us safer.”

After the Democratic Caucus, the 81-year-old chose to serve, the chair in position, Lowey vowed to “make the work of the government for the people.”

“I’m also committed to provide the Congress with the constitutional power of the purse is robust, effective monitoring of the trump management and financing of refuse, which is contrary to the values and interests of the hardworking families,” she said.
