Trump taps Conway as a counselor to President


Kelly Anne Conway, the tireless campaign operative, was the face of Donald Trump’s successful presidential candidacy, was as Advisor to the President.

Conway, the Trump team as a campaign manager, announced in August, moving in early this week on Fox News, from their New Jersey home to Washington signaled a pending position in the incoming Trump management. Thursday the announcement from the transition team put in their new role.


“Kelly Anne Conway has been a trusted Advisor and strategist, played a decisive role in my victory,” Trump said in a statement released Thursday morning. “She is a tireless and persistent advocate of my agenda, and has amazing insights on how to communicate effectively our message. I am glad that you are a part of my senior team in the West wing.”

Conway will communicate and work with senior administration officials, and to lead Trump legislative priorities, the statement said.

Conway Fox & Friends said “” on Thursday that Trump it in ” the West Wing “to continue my service”. She said she had weighed a number of factors, including your family into consideration, a job, but described the West Wing-in-waiting as a family-friendly, to say: “So I’m good on the guests.”

The appointment call “very humiliating”, she said: “It is difficult to pass up. I know I have his ear and his trust.”

In a written statement, Conway also said:

“A trump presidency, real change, and Washington will bring to the Americans about this great nation. I am humbled and honored to have a role in helping to transform the movement he led, in a real agenda of action and results.”

Conway, 49, has a law degree from the George Washington University Law School and is the founder and owner of The Polling Company, a polling and research company.

Thursday’s announcement word followed would Conway relocate to the nation’s capital.

“My family is moving to Washington, DC, and I’m going to either stay outside, and they lead the political super-structure, or I go in the West wing and a position to the right of the President,” Conway told Fox News’ “Happening Now.”

In contrast to positions on Trump in the Cabinet, the Conway, the role is not subject to Senate confirmation.
