President Trump on Thursday slammed actor Jussie Smollett, after police accused him of masterminding a “bogus” hate-crime attack, namely, the “racist and dangerous comments”, complained his followers.

The President of the tweet comes under the latest developments in Smollett controversy. The actor was arrested in the night of Thursday, after he “officially as a suspect in a criminal investigation,” allegedly “filing a false police report” about the alleged incident in the Jan. 29.
Smollett, who is black and openly gay, had claimed that he was attacked by two masked men early on Jan. 29 when he went to his Chicago apartment of a subway restaurant. Smollett argued that the men shouted racial and anti-gay insults at him, poured a chemical substance on him, threw a rope around his neck, and cried, “The MAGA country!”
Chicago police arrested two brothers—Ola and Abel Osundario—in relation to the incident, but both were released without charge last week, according to the survey.
POLICE SLAM SMOLLETT FOR “FALSE” REPORT
Had police said they are investigating the attack as a possible hate crime and first as a Smollett, a victim, but that quickly changed.
After the actor’s arrest, Chicago police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said on Thursday that Smollett arranged a “false attack” to “the advantage of the pain and the anger, the racism, for the promotion of his career.”
Meanwhile, Smollett’s lawyers, Todd S. Pugh, Victor P. Henderson, had vehemently denied that the attack was a hoax.
“As victims of hate crime who together with the police investigation, Jussie Smollett is upset and distressed by the recent reports that the perpetrators are the people he is familiar with,” the lawyers said in a weekend statement. “He has now due to the additional victims of this alleged perpetrator, Jussie played a role in his own attack. Nothing is further from the truth and someone else claims that is lying.”
In a statement to Fox News on Wednesday, Smollett, lawyers for the actor said, “enjoys the presumption of innocence, especially when there is an investigation like this, where information, both true as well as wrong, was again and again betrayed.”
