President Trump on Friday, Secretary of state Mike Pompeo cancel his planned trip to North Korea, citing a lack of “sufficient progress” with the rogue regime on denuclearization, said, while also slamming China.

“I did not ask, Secretary of state Mike Pompeo, to go to North Korea at this time, because I tweeted the feeling that we are making sufficient progress in relation to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,” Trump. “In addition, because of our much stronger trading position with China, I don’t think they help with the process of the denuclearization of how you once were (in spite of the UN sanctions that are in force).”

He added moments later: “the Secretary Pompeo is looking forward to traveling to North Korea in the near future, probably after our trade relations with China is settled. In the meantime, I would like to extend my most heartfelt greetings to President Kim. I am looking forward to it, soon!”

The President’s Directive came after Pompeo’s announcement on Thursday that he would travel to the country in the next week.

A State Department spokesman did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for Pompeo, the reaction of the President’s tweets.

Trump and the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in a historic summit meeting in June in Singapore, where the dictator promised that the work in the direction of “complete denuclearization.” In spite of that the agreement, the rogue regimes may be the construction of a new inter-tier continental ballistic missiles.

A U.S. official with knowledge of the intelligence assessment said on Fox News late last month that Kim is pushing for regime, with the construction of ICBMs.
