President Trump said on Fox News’ “Hannity” on the night of Thursday, the Russian government preferred Hillary Clinton as President, because they don’t riot in the Russian energy industry.
“I’ll tell you about Russia, if you have anything on me, it would have been a long time, probably a long time before I ran, because they would be much better off,” Trump said in his first interview since the end of the Robert Mueller investigation.
“I hope we really get on well with them, but they would have went much better with Hillary Clinton as President,” he continued.

The President went on to claim that the Kremlin has more reason to back Clinton, who would have only helped the Russian energy industry as the candidate of the Democrats against the American oil and gas drilling.
“In terms of energy, in terms of oil and gas. What we do with the energy, it is unbelievable in our country. This is tremendous competition for Russia. Hillary would not drill, you let you: it would be said no oil, there would be no gas, it would compete not everything,” Trump.

The comments from trump came in the midst of the end of the Müller-investigation into the collusion between the Trump campaign, and Russia is not evidence of a conspiracy to the co-ordination of efforts to be elected to, according to the letter from attorney General William Barr.
