Trump’s call comes after GOP leaders pulled a large immigration law from consideration late on Thursday, pushing for a vote next week.

Congressional Republicans had previously passed a more conservative bill. The moderate, compromise measure was expected to review a requirement that employers use E-Verify, the legal status of the employees.

Leaders have tried to calm you both the conservative and moderate forces in their party, while the conference of presidents on four pillars: brought a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants in the country, as children, the border security, including a wall, an end to the so-called “chain migration” and an end to the diversity visa lottery.

A sticking point for conservatives is that, while the compromise funds the wall, it also provides a path to citizenship for 1.8 million young illegal immigrants. The conservative bill, only the 700 000 beneficiaries of Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program offers the opportunity to apply for permanent extensions of non-immigrant status.

Democrats have rejected both proposals.

“It is not a compromise,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., reporters said. “There can be a compromise with the devil, but it is not a compromise with the Democrats.”

Trump will discuss on Wednesday an invitation for a Democrat in the White house on immigration, and said: “it takes two to tango”, even though he had scathing words for what he called “extremist, open border” of the legislature.

“You don’t take care of the kids…they don’t care about the problems. They don’t care about anything. All you do is say, ‘do not Interfere, and let’s see how we do it’, because they have no policies, well,” he said before a Cabinet meeting.

On Thursday he repeated that the rhetoric, but without an invitation for the Democrats to the table.

“Dems are, but to do nothing to Hinder it. Remember your motto, to RESIST! Our PRODUCTS!” he tweeted.

More vote Republican in November, and we pass the finest, most beautiful and most comprehensive immigration bills anywhere in the world. Now we have the dumbest and the worst. Dems are, but to do nothing to Hinder it. Remember your motto, to RESIST! Our PRODUCTS!

He renewed his criticism of the filibuster in the Senate, the break requires 60 votes.

“Even if we 100% of the Republican votes in the Senate, we need to get 10 Democrats to vote in a much-needed immigration Bill & the Dems are obstruction ists that is not the vote for political reasons & because they do not care about the crime from the border. So we need to elect more R’s!”

Trump’s tweets come after a fiery week in which the rhetoric on both sides escalated to the question of the administration of the “zero-tolerance” policy to prosecute all illegal border crossers. This, in turn, led to an increase in the number of children separated from their parents.

Trump, under an executive order signed ends on Wednesday and the practice, so that families will be taken into custody, but Democrats have since pushed to, what she described as “indefinite detention” of families on the border.
