Kurtz: If the button does not take no for an answer

‘MediaBuzz’ host Howard Kurtz weighs on why the media keep insisting Trump to fire Robert Mueller could not, even though the President says he wants.

The media are constantly warning that President Trump to fire Robert Mueller, could be a political fire storm and a constitutional crisis.

However, there is a small problem with this story: Trump and his top aides keep denying it.

Not that the journalists are, the spoil the fun.

A reporter asked the President days, if he thought that firing Bob Mueller.

“No, I’m not,” said Trump.

On “America’s Newsroom” yesterday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, said: “We have no intention of firing Bob Mueller. We continue to work closely and cooperate with him. We are looking forward to this hoax wrap-up very soon.”

Now an investigation that has led to an indictment of trump, the former campaign manager and a confession of his former national security adviser, is not really a joke. But Sanders was clearly on the dismissal in question.

Still, the experts keep pounding. On MSNBC the “Morning Joe” yesterday, John Heilemann told Republican Sen. Bob Corker: “I would like to ask you personally, what your reaction would be if the President had tried to fire the special Prosecutor.”

Corker said, “there would be an uprising and revolt”.

In fairness, Heilemann Senate reacted part of speech of Democrat Mark Warner, stated that any attempt to trump-dump, Müller or shut down the Russia-probe “would be a gross abuse of power” and these were “red lines” that should not be exceeded.

Warner was just a partisan shot? He gave no indication that he believes such a move is in the works.

Now no one can say that it is not impossible that Trump change his mind and try to get rid of Miller. The Prosecutor’s office could be new fees or requirements for, the knowledge, the anger of the President and the way put it into practice

But the administration is not sending such signals. In fact, the burn would have to be carried out by the Deputy General Prosecutor Rod Rosenstein, recently testified that he thinks Müller is doing a good job, and could only be removed for valid reasons.

So, at the moment, all this amounts to an Orgy of speculation.

The Washington Post, jumping on Warner’s comments, ran a story yesterday with the title “The Growing specter of Robert Müller is Fired.” The article explains that “the environment is improving for the attempt to Brand Müller.”

Here is a Bloomberg piece with the title “What Could Happen If Trump orders Dismissed Mueller.”

The media was perfectly captured by a Chicago Tribune column, with the headline: “Trump Says He will not fire, Bob Mueller. Don’t Believe Him.”

Why not? Eric Zorn wrote that “the big reason is that I simply believe that it will provide, as I did not believe, trump the certainty that he had a plan,” great health, a tiny fraction of the cost.’ I didn’t believe him when he said the super-rich, the people would not benefit from a Republican tax overhaul, it would cost them personally to him a fortune, and that one day he would statement a publication of his tax.”

In other words, he trusts the guy and not agree with his policy.

The media go crazy every right to displace when Trump tried to the Prosecutor’s office is investigating him. But for now, it may be the most over covered hypothetical question in politics.
