The American president Donald Trump has worked together with the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday signed a declaration in which the United States recognize that the golan heights to Israel.
“The unbreakable bond between the U.S. and Israel has never been so strong as now”, said Trump in the White House, where he was the Israeli premier received for a visit. Netanyahu responded to Trump with the words: “Israel has never had a better friend than you.”
Israel has the golan heights in 1967, Syria was conquered and annexed them in 1981. Trump said last week that after the “52 years” time for recognition of the annexation. Syria responded Monday after the signing and calls it an “attack on sovereignty”.

Minister Stef Blok (Foreign Affairs) took all away from Trump and said that the Netherlands, the action would not follow. According to Block, “it helps not to take actions that the already fragile situation there can compromise”.
