New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo sat down with President Trump to discuss on Tuesday to revise a part of the Trump – 2017 tax overhaul, a measure Cuomo is claimed, to the rich from the Stand.
Before she was finished, Trump had put the car in gear to discuss his concerns about the state of late-term abortion bill.
Cuomo was discussing a visit to the White house, the $10,000 cap on the Federal deduction for state and local taxes (SALT), a provision which, he says, is a contribution to a jump of more than $2 billion in tax revenue.
The democratic Governor said his state is leaving the highest-income earners, because the deduction cap means that you could pay to see significant increases in their Federal taxes. The same is true for residents in New Jersey and California.

“President Trump spoke about the positive impact of the tax cuts and the Jobs Act, the American economy, and the President of the Governor’s concerns with regard to SALT heard,” read a statement from the White house.
Prospects for new tax legislation, or remove the $10,000 cap are low, given the Republican majority in the Senate concerned about potentially, the deficit increases, without corresponding new revenue sources.
Michael Zona, a spokesman for the Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee, said: “It is ironic that the same Democrats, criticized the Act on the tax cuts and jobs, the benefit for supposedly only the rich are now in advocacy for an amendment to the law that would benefit mainly the rich.”
But Tuesday is not a conversation, it was limited to taxes and tax legislation. Trump on the target Cuomo and other Democrats took on the controversial late-term abortion law that rolls out recently in New York and Virginia.
“The President raised his concerns to Governor Cuomo about Democrats” support of late-term abortions,” the White house statement read.
