TRUMP MAKES DEMS CHASING TAP COCKS ON OBAMA
Say what you will about President Trump‘s claims that his predecessor was spying on him during the 2016 campaign, you have a remarkably effective distraction.

Given the chance to publicly interview, FBI Director James Comey and the National Security Agency (NSA Director Mike Rogers about the Russian efforts to the 2016 presidential campaign – a topic that should be an absolute field day for the blue team Democrats instead devoted much of their survey of disproving Trump is apparently unproven assertion.

Yes, Democrats persuaded Comey in revealing some potent conclusions, especially the unequivocal statement that Russia’s intervention was aimed to hurt Democratic candidates Hillary Clinton and the Kremlin has a pronounced fondness for the trombone in the election.

But still, the foamy foam on Trump’s tweeted allegations took an enormous amount of time.

As a senior Republican aide on Capitol Hill, you put it on the mid-term report on Trump and his distraction: “You never know if the guy is crazy or an absolute genius.”

And, to be fair, it was pretty crazy for Trump as a sitting President to throw out an unsupported accusation against Barack Obama in this size. Reckless, even.

But the genius part was hunting today known as Democrats, the red herring, the testimonials by a lot of Comey’s and Roger’s.

Democrats may think that it is to get a win Comey to publicly say what everyone already knew: that it ordered no evidence of illegal Obama-sounds of the trombone, but this is pretty small beer.

The larger takeaway for the day’s work would have been Comey’s public confirmation of an ongoing investigation, whether or not anyone was associated with the trump card of the campaign, the agreements with the Russian units during the elections. We knew, or at least had reason to believe.

But since Comey has publicly declared the existence of an investigation, this means that in the probably near future, it will be the results published. Either Trump and his associates will be placed in a clean bill of health, or criminal charges. And finally we have some resolution.

Up to this moment, however, it is all about the design of the precious narrative. And in this game trump intention is either or accidental misinformation about Obama is proving to be very useful to the new President.

Many of trump supporters no doubt believe easily that Trump the allegations, in spite of refutation. Trump the critics, meanwhile, employed their tails to hunt have been trying to disprove the disprovable,.

As far as actually for the nation, it is not so hot. The resulting spat with the UK over some of the fees was an unnecessary embarrassment. But as political theater, it’s a fairly potent to mislead.

THE RULES FOR THE CHOICE: A LIFE
“The want of a scheme for the removal of the judge due to inability has been a subject of complaint. But all considerate men will be sensible that such a provision would not be practiced, either at all, or would be prone to answer to abuse than calculated, the no good purpose.” – Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 79

TIME-OUT: FEEL THE BEAT
Legendary artists Chuck Berry, who died on Saturday in a 90-years-old, was often thought to be the father of rock ‘n’ roll, with incomparable talent. But his depictions of post-WWII America is what gives his music a lasting importance. The Atlantic: “The singer in” Promised Land ” is how the guitar beat [Johnny B. Goode], a young man on the make. Starting from your home in Norfolk, Virginia, in a Greyhound, the singer wants to make it to California to his name. The song is popping up a atlas of America in major cities such as New Orleans and Atlanta, but the small, Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Albuquerque, New Mexico do. As his time Beat comrade-Poet, the singer is determined to travel, but, unlike them, he has a tendency in the direction of a (even, perhaps, the privilege) shift-lessness.”

SHARP LINES ARE DRAWN COMES FROM GORSUCH IN GEAR
Fox News: “The first day of the hearings [on the nomination of judge Neil from gorsuch to the Supreme court] in the Senate Judiciary Committee opened Committee Chairman Sen. Chuck Grassley expression of his overarching view of the high court, before for from gorsuch, said judges play a limited role in the government and are” not free to update the Constitution.’ “This is not your job. This force is maintained, by the people, acting through their elected representatives, ” the Iowa Republican said, before the dispute, the Obama administration is trying to rewrite the laws of the Federal government ‘dozens of times.'”

[Here is a look at how the current judges of the Supreme court of justice, made it through their hearings.]

What could determine from gorsuch fate? – FiveThirtyEight’s Harry ducks , argues public opinion has a pretty hefty factor for the Supreme Court to be nominated: “it is Important that the public likes from gorsuch. And while the public is not nominated in the vote on the Supreme Court, my analysis of past votes suggests, public support is correlated with how many votes a candidate receives in the Senate, once you control for other factors. Public pressure, for example, is part of what helped get Clarence Thomas confirmed. In pretty much every single survey from gorsuch confirmation as the contrast is so far supported by more Americans. From gorsuch not quite the approval5, that many candidates have had in the past 30 years, but he is not far away.”

Hurt so good: from gorsuch and the corpse flower – WashTimes: “Yes, Democrats in the Senate have stated that they have no interest, take judge from gorsuch or its hearings seriously. “The high burden of proof that a judge from gorsuch to meet, is largely a consequence of the President who nominated him,” said Sen. , Richard Blumenthal, a Democrat, was elected to the Senate of the ridiculous state of Connecticut, in spite of repeatedly lying about the fighting in the Vietnam war. In other words, according to Mr. Blumenthal, it’s all about politics. Nothing to do with the Constitution. He does not like the President, so he will never vote for a judge from gorsuch confirmation.”

AUDIBLE: GETTING MARRIED IS BETTER THAN RED
“You don’t have to send anyone back to the community.” – American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp told the WaPo, his opening question in his courtship with his wife, Mercedes, the daughter of Cuban refugees, who began their first debate, demanding to know his position on the repatriation of Elian Gonzales.

FROM THE STANDS
“You know, or find out, whether the proposed American Health Care Act will extend and mandates, the [members of Congress], its employees and the employees of Federal agencies use the system and your existing programs be abolished?” – Frank Bolton, Phoenix

[Ed. Note: a Good question! To receive one of the requirements under ObamaCare for members of Congress and their employees coverage through the health insurance exchange under the law. You are free to your employer-contribution and buy coverage, that it was something of an empty gesture, but at least it is require the legislature to experience the annoyances of a further level of bureaucracy in the procurement of cover. What we do not know if this requirement is retained, if ObamaCare in the trump care. With the proposed 3-stage process for the introduction of the new system, it is perhaps too early to tell, and as a Reporter for the Columbus Dispatch found out, there is not much clarity on the topic. But we are just going to keep. Thanks for reading and taking the time to write.]

“I’m amazed that you write to call the President of the US ‘Trump’ in most of them. I think I saw only one time ” – President Trump.’ However, call Pres. Obama, Pres. GW Bush, etc. time, to remind you who’s ‘trump card’? Also, you are the only one that calls the new Health-care ” trump care.'” – Euthymia Hibbs, Cleveland

[Ed. Note: wife Hibbs, there is no disrespect meant by the reference to the President by his last name alone on second reference. We do deviate from the Associated Press style in a way, however. AP changed eight years ago, the President-in-office of the full name on first reference, e.g., “President Barack Obama” rather than “President Obama.” I find this unnecessary, since everyone knows who we are talking about when we say, “President Trump.” But it is certainly not necessary to repeat all of the office-holder’s title, the on second reference. “Trump” doing well. As for the health care law he helped craft and is currently not for sale, “trump care” is a helpful clarification of the term “ObamaCare.”]

“In the case of panda ribs business is not working for you, it might be time to revisit Jonathan Swift‘s ‘A Modest proposal.'” – Chuck Howard, Tunica, Miss.

[Ed. Note: Now, Mr. Howard, in contrast to Swift, and the poor children in Ireland, I’m calling for more pandas. I have my way, you would so often like cows!]

WHAT’S WITH “DON”?

BBC: “A Bishop in Sicily has moved, again, the notion of the ‘godfather’ of the mafia – through a ban on the Gangster, the the role in baptisms. Michele Pennisi, a vocal-mafia-critic, has his diocese of Monreale, at Palermo. He said he wanted to challenge the idea that crime bosses have a paternal side. “The mafia always has the term godfather of the Church, its leaders an air of religious respectability,” he told the AFP news Agency. ‘While, in fact, the two worlds are completely incompatible.’ Archbishop Pennisi, the diocese includes the infamous village of Corleone, a vendetta-torn enclave made famous by Mario Puzo‘s novel “The godfather”.
