The President, according to his lawyers, wants to an interview with the special counsel, however, has its legal team concerns; Ellison Barber reports from Washington.

President Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow on Sunday accused of “bad information” to deny the falsely that the President is a role in the elaboration of its campaign in response to a key-June 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer at the Trump Tower.

Sekulow’s comments came shortly after the Trump Sunday tweeted earlier, further confirmation that the meeting was “to get information on an opponent”, which he characterized as “completely legal and done all the time in politics-and it went nowhere.” Trump in the past year, said on Twitter that “the majority of politicians went to a meeting like that would be visited a Don jr to get info on an opponent. This is politics!”

Donald Trump Jr, his brother-in-law, Jared Kushner, and then-campaign Chairman, Paul Manafort, were known to have been a meeting with the Kremlin-linked lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.

A first July 2017-statement, dictated by President Trump and published by Trump Jr immediately after the meeting came to light that read, in part: “We have discussed, a program on the adoption of Russian children that was active, and popular among American families years ago.” The statement, no mention of Trump officials seeking damaging information on Hillary Clinton.

At first, Trump officials denied that the President had dictated the statement. “I was not included in the statement of the drafting, nor was the President,” Sekulow claimed in July 2017.

“I had bad information, the time and made a mistake in my statement,” Sekulow said on Sunday on ABC’s “This week. To develop “In a situation like this, over time, facts. This is what to do with the investigation.”

Trump’s lawyers have since confirmed in a letter to Special Counsel Robert Mueller, that the President “dictated a short, but precise answer” to the first reports of the meeting.

Trump on Sunday repeated his earlier claims that he did not know in advance about the meeting — Trump back up to Jr, who said that the Senate judiciary Committee the same thing in September 2017 and the legal responsibility would be in front of potential criminal if he is lying.

Sekulow added that he had “no knowledge” of whether Federal investigators probing Trump Jr, could also have as critics charge, the mysterious discussion in conflict campaign get Finance law.

Manafort, one of the participants in the Trump meeting Tower, is currently on trial for the independent banking and tax-fraud charges as part of the Special Counsel, Robert Mueller investigation and Sekulow said that to his knowledge, Trump is Jr the target of a Federal probe of the session.

“I don’t represent, Don Jr, but I’ll tell you, I’ve even said no knowledge of Don Jr that he is a target of an investigation, and I have no knowledge of him being interviewed by the special counsel,” Sekulow said Sunday.

Some have argued that the Trump involved meeting Tower, the illegal exchange of “thing of value” with foreign nationals for campaign purposes Fund, although the extent, can share in the information, legally, a “thing of value” is unclear. In the July 11, 2017, Trump, Jr., published what he said was the “entire E-Mail chain” of his talks, the establishment of the controversial meeting with Russian lawyer, showing what appeared to be a range of information would provide “burden” Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton as “part of Russia, and his government’s support for Mr. Trump.”

“We need to see, Andrew Brunson returned home,” he said. “It would be good for Turkey, it would be good for the United States and our long-term relations with the NATO allies.”
