Obama bashes Trump takes credit for a good economy
Economist Peter Morici breaks Trump economic success in the past two years.
President Trump escalated the political battle with his predecessor, Monday, that he had a “magic wand” for the economy after Barack Obama is trying to shut down the profits of playing on a Trump.
Obama hits the campaign for the congressional elections Democratic candidates over the weekend, after a fiery speech accusing Trump and Republicans are fueling a “division and rejection,” and what was the current government is taking credit for a recovery that he developed.
“When you hear how great the economy is doing, right now, let us just remember, when this recovery,” Obama said on Friday.
But Trump on Monday attempted, Obama’s past words against him.
“‘President Trump would need to get a magic wand, to 4% of GDP,” said President Obama. I think I have a magic wand, 4.2%, and we will do MUCH better than this! We have only just begun,” Trump tweeted.

This is a reference to a 2016 city hall, where Obama pushed back on Trump’s vow to return, jobs in the production of the negotiation of a “better deal.”
“How is it exactly that you want to negotiate? What magic wand do you have?” Obama asked at the time.
Trump is estimated by crows in the past, that the US economy grew by 4.2 annual rate in the second quarter, the most in almost four years. And it is to be paid with the GDP and the creation of jobs, to strike back hard at Obama’s return, in the election campaign.
He also tweeted Monday: “The economy is soooo good, maybe the best in the history of our country (remember, it’s the economy, stupid!), that the Democrats are flailing & lie like CRAZY! Fake books, articles, and T. V. ‘hits’, to be endured like no other pol has and you lose the big one. Very dishonest people!”
Further, he repeated a claim, if the Democrats win in 2016, the GDP would be trending in the reverse.
“I opened reductions, our beautiful economic engine with control and tax. Our system was choking and would have done worse. Still a lot to do!” he tweeted.
The long-range rhetorical battle between Trump and Obama put the last two-month stretch of the midterms, with the current and the previous President of each spread out to dull for the allied candidates in the whole country in a battle for control of Congress.
Some of his toughest to deliver broadsides against the GOP since the departure from office – and with reference to the Trump name, something he used to avoid, Obama said on Friday there are certain “powerful and privileged” people who want to “keep us angry.”
“It started with Donald Trump,” Obama said. “He is a symptom, not the cause. He is simply the capital out of resentment, the politicians have been fanning for years.”
But to speak in Fargo, N. D., on the same day, Trump Obama’s released speech and mocked his claim that Trump took credit for a thriving economy, starting with the management.
“I think he tried to take the credit for this incredible thing is happening to our country,” he said. “I must say, President Obama, not he, and when the Democrats got their agenda … instead of 4.2 [percent GDP growth], you have the 4.2 down, you would be in the negative numbers.”
He said that Obama overlooked was that the “weakest recovery in the history of our country.”
“This does not mean a recovery, but a space ship,” he said in reference to the economy under his leadership.
