President Trump and members of the coronavirus task-force-hold-press-conference from the White house, detailing further steps the government is taking to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
President, Trump stated on Friday, this Sunday a National day of prayer, shortly after declaring a state of emergency in the midst of the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic.
“We are a country in our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these….,” Trump tweeted. “No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn to prayer in an act of faith. Together, we’ll win easy!”
The annual National Day of Prayer is scheduled for 7. May. Trump, the announcement came to expand after he declared a national emergency over the Corona-Virus-pandemic-in addition to the partnerships with several major companies Tests for the disease.
Trump has great support from white Evangelical Christians and the Catholic voters. As President, he advocate of religious freedom and for more religious freedoms, such as the strengthening of prayer in public schools.
