President Trump on Tuesday, the Republican Tate Reeves congratulated on the election of the Governor of Mississippi, adding that a recent campaign rally, and the approval of the commander-helped in-chief to push the GOP candidate for victory in the state.

The President also announced his obvious ability to mobilize voters before election day, citing Tuesday’s too-close-to-call ” is the gubernatorial races in Kentucky, as well as promising host rally in Louisiana garner last-minute support for the Republican candidate Eddie Rispone, who is running against the Democratic incumbent, Gov. John Bel Edwards.
“Congratulations to @tatereeves win Governor of the Great state of Mississippi. Our big rally on Friday evening drew the numbers from a tape to a big WIN. Great response under pressure, Tate!” Trump said on Twitter.
“Our big Kentucky rally on Monday night had a massive impact on all the races. The increase in the Governor’s race was at least 15 points, maybe 20! In Louisiana for @EddieRispone on Wednesday evening. Big Rally!”
In spite of facing the best-funded Democrat to run for the position in more than a decade, the Republicans retained their hold on the governorship in Mississippi.

Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, who both traveled to Mississippi in the last days of the campaign for Reeves, who is completing his second term as Deputy Governor after serving two terms, the elected state treasurer. Reeves succeeds, reg. Phil Bryant, is limited by state laws to two terms.
