“Congratulations to Attorney General Bill Barr for the recording of a case that was completely out of control, and perhaps should not be brought,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday. The President went on to say that former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation, which led to the stone law enforcement, was a “fraud” that “was incorrectly brought up & spoiled.”

Senior DOJ officially confirmed to Fox News that senior officials there made the call to reverse the first sentencing recommendation, namely, the submission on Monday evening was not only extreme, but also much inconsistent with how the prosecutors had informed DOJ leadership would you go about the case.
