Trump is escalating his feud with Amazon on Twitter
Trump accuses Amazon of a ‘Post-Office fraud” on Twitter; Washington Examiner reporter Steven Nelson, an insight into Trump’s Amazon-attacks and White house staff shakeups.
President Trump reignited his feud with Amazon on Saturday and argues that the online retailer “fraud” shipping-deal with the US Postal Service, the calculation of the Agency “billions of dollars.”
“It is reported that the U.S. Post Office to lose $ 1.50 on average for each package delivers for Amazon. In the amount of billions of dollars,” Trump over two tweets said. “If the P. O. ‘raised their package rates, Amazon, the shipping cost will increase by $2.6 billion.’ This Post has to stop fraud. Amazon has to pay the real costs (and taxes) now!”
…need not the Fake “Washington Post”, the REGISTER as a “lobbyist,” and should be so. If the P. O. “increased their package rates, Amazon, the shipping cost will increase by $2.6 billion.” This Post has to stop fraud. Amazon has to pay the real costs (and taxes) now!

The tweets suggest that Trump got his information from The New York Times and the attack of the “Fake” Washington Post” that continues to be to be critical of trump, the administration, and is owned by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon.
The president’s tweets on Saturday also, not, recommend, Amazon pays its fair share of the value added tax and that the Post is “lobbying,” “staff,” “keep bloated” in the efforts, favorable tax laws, and the Postal Service.
But Federal regulators have found that the contract with Amazon to be profitable.
“I have noted my concerns with Amazon long before the election,” trump tweeted Thursday. “In contrast to others, they pay little or no taxes to state and local governments, use our post system as their delivery guy (a huge loss for the USA), and many thousands of dealers out of business!”

The Post and Bezos, have responded to Trump the lobbyists claims in the past, and he explains that Bezos is not involved in any journalistic decisions on the paper.
Amazon.com, Inc., and the newspaper declined to comment on Saturday.
Amazon lives and dies by the shipping, and an increase in the prices he pays, it could certainly be some damage to do. Amazon sends packages through the post office, FedEx, UPS, and other services.
But while the US Postal Service has lost money for 11 years, package delivery — a light for the service is the reason.
Reinforced by e-commerce, the Postal Service has experienced double-digit growth in revenue from package delivery, but that was not enough to offset pension and healthcare costs, as well as declines in first-class-letters and E-mail marketing.
Together, letters and E-mail marketing more than two-thirds of the post-revenue.
In the argument that the Postal Service is losing money on the provision of packages for Amazon, trump seems to be relying on some Wall Street analysis to argue that the Post is out of date, the formula for the calculation of the cost. A 2017 analysis of Citigroup have concluded that the postal service is charging below market rates as a whole on the packages.
Still, Federal regulators have verified that the Amazon contract with the Post office every year, and it is determined to be profitable.
