Trump slams Canadian PM on the trade following the G7 summit

President Trump attacking Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the trade after the G7 summit in Quebec City, Canada; reaction from FBN’s Charlie Gasparino and Susan Li on ‘your world’.

President Trump hit claimed again in reviews about his interactions with world leaders at the G7 summit this past weekend in Canada, on Friday on Twitter that the “wrong media” were “WRONG once again!”

“I have a great relationship with Angela Merkel in Germany, but the Fake-News media only shows the bad photos (what’s with the anger) of negotiations on a Treaty where I am to please the things, would say no other American President:” the President wrote next to a series of photos, showing, smiling interactions with the Chancellor and other heads of government.

These images stood in stark contrast to a viral photo of Trump on the summit, which showed what seemed to be a frustrated Merkel leaning in the direction of the President and the national security Advisor to John Bolton. Trump, smugly, had crossed his arms on the photo.

Trump and the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau butted heads during the summit about the rates. During the event, the President expressed a willingness to participate in a group statement to the trade – only reversed course after Trudeau Trump-tariff criticised at a summit in the press conference.

At the event, which occurred after Trump had already left – the Prime Minister said that Canada would not be “pushed” to that of the United States, the Declaration led to a subsequent tweet storm of the President, in which he lamented that “Fair trade is now to be called, to Deceive the trade.”

He also met Merkel for Germany, the contributions to NATO.

But on Friday, Trump dismissed concerns that his relations with the other heads of government had turned sour.

“The Fake-News media said that I get along with other leaders at the #G7Summit in Canada,” Trump wrote. “You are WRONG again!”
