President Trump on Monday blasted Rev. Al Sharpton as a “con man,”” claims he “hates white cops,” according to the MSNBC host said he would travel to Baltimore, in the midst of the controversy over the president’s comments about the city and its democratic legislators.

Sharpton tweeted on Sunday evening that he would travel to Baltimore to “Trump address comments & bi-partisan outrage in the black community” about them. Trump responded by slamming Sharpton, saying you knew each other for decades, and fights. But the President doesn’t pull all the punches, with a weight on the Sharpton character.

“I’ve known Al for 25 years. Went to the fights with him & Don King, has always been well got. He “loved trump!’ He’d tweeted asking for favors often,” the President. Minutes later, the President added: “Al Sharpton would ask me to go to his events. He would say, “it’s a personal favor to me.” Rarely, but sometimes, I would go. It was in order. He came to my office in T. T. during the presidential campaign, to apologize for the way he was talking about me. Only a conman at work!”

The president’s tweets come after Sharpton, on Monday night published details of a press conference that he planned, until Monday “, to Trump’s remarks & bi-partisan outrage in the black community.” This was in response to Trump’s criticism, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., and the condition of his district, which includes Baltimore.

Minutes after Trump’s tweets Sharpton replied, a vintage photo of trump with him, Jesse Jackson and James Brown.

“Trump-to-NAN Convention in 2006, tells James Brown and Jesse Jackson, why he respected my work. Different tune now,” Sharpton tweeted.

Trump, over the weekend, claiming that the conditions in Cummings’ Baltimore were district “dangerous” than those on the border, described it as a “rodent-infested” and said that “no man would want to live there.”

Democrats immediately rallied on Cummings’ side, such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and accused trombone racist.
