President Trump took a rare swipe at the 2020 Democratic hopeful Kamala Harris on Saturday, criticizing the California Senator for the boycott of a South Carolina criminal justice forum to protest the group the award for him.

“Bad failure of presidential candidate @Kamala Harris is not going to be a very wonderful largely African American event today, because yesterday I received a large award did produce, at the same event, the & – sign in the right major criminal law Reform of the laws, which contribute significantly to the African-American community (and other communities), and was not to do be able to get in past administrations, in spite of a strong desire for you,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.

He added: “This and the best unemployment numbers are ALWAYS more than Kamala will EVER be able to do for African-Americans!”

The president’s tweets came after he received the non-partisan justice Award of the 20/20 cross-y Justice Center for his efforts to pass the First step of the Act, which grants early release to thousands of nonviolent offenders, the prisons currently serving time in Federal.

After Trump received the award on Friday, Harris announced that she would skip Saturday’s 2019 Second step, presidential-Justice-Forum at Benedict College in Columbia

“As the only candidate to an HBCU, I know the importance that these spaces hold for young Black Americans,” Harris said in a statement Friday. “Today, when it became clear that Donald Trump would get a prize, after decades of celebration of mass incarceration, press for the death penalty for innocent Black Americans, Rollback, police accountability, and racist behavior that puts people’s lives at risk, and then learned all but ten of the Benedict students are excluded from participation in, I can’t accomplice a good faith belief übertape adorn his record.”

Harris said she would come instead, “hosts students from all universities, as well as the wider Columbia community to view and discuss this important topic, that I’ve worked for my whole career.”

Harris was expected to be among the 10 Democratic presidential hopefuls, that to participate in the forum.

“Donald Trump is a lawless President,” Harris continues. “Not only is he the circumvention of the laws of our country and the principles of our Constitution, but there is nothing in his career to be about justice, for justice, or in the celebration of justice.”

Harris, though, supports the First step of the legislation, the support of both parties.

The senator has come under fire for their own record on criminal justice reform. Your campaign has repeatedly stressed, the progressive aspects of your career as a Prosecutor and later attorney General of the state of California, which is the introduction of a proposal for the Federal bail reform, and the legalization of marijuana, which is a part of their comprehensive criminal justice reform agenda, if elected President in the year 2020.

From the middle of the week, polls, Harris showed behind the former Vice-President, Joe Biden, the top contenders for the 2020 democratic nomination, by almost 22 points, drawing only 5.3 per cent support, according to real clear politics.
