Journalists also pushed back against him: “We have not called it a verbatim transcript,” tweeted Brian Karem, the Playboy author and CNN contributor.

But the trump card-the administration defended the accuracy of the document.

A Senior justice Department official told Fox News that DOJ officials interviewed knowledgeable people about the process for the preparation of the transcript, and we are confident that the document is correct.

Fox News has learned, it reflects the standard process for the documentation of phone calls with foreign heads of state and government.
