The health and Human Services Department warned, California, on Friday, you cut off some of its Federal funding if it continues to be compulsory, universal abortion coverage, and argued that this is against the conscience rights of all Americans.

“With this announcement,” the Department said, “OCR-requirements, California inform, OCR, within thirty days, whether or not California will continue to enforce its requirement that all health plans cover elective abortions, or whether he will agree to, corrective action to take and remedy the effects of its discriminatory conduct.”

“Nobody in America should be forced to pay or to other people, the abortions,” said Severino. The administration previously came under fire after OCR advanced protection for physicians instead of a “conscience” objection to performing abortions and other procedures.
