Trump accuses Pelosi of ‘cry for justice” in the Senate trial after ‘unfair’ house charge

Speaker Pelosi seems to think they can dictate the rules for a Senate impeachment, says Senate majority Leader Mitch McConnell.

President Trump House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested on Monday for the production of the requirements of the Senate in regards to his upcoming trial, as she sits on two impeachment articles, accusing her of “crying for fairness”, according to the direction of an “unfair” process in the house.

Throughout the house Democrats, ” impeachment inquiry, Trump and fellow Republicans have criticized elements of the process-including the first closed-door sessions with the witnesses, an invitation for him to participate in a negotiation, while he was overseas, and to quote the decision of the President the assertion of executive privilege, as proof of the disability as opposed to fight it in court.

“Pelosi gives us the most unfair trial in the history of the U.S. Congress, and now they are crying for fairness in the Senate, and break all the rules,” Trump tweeted on Monday morning. “You lost the Congress once they will do it again!”

Both chambers of Congress are engaged in an unusual battle on the next steps in the historical process, according to the house Trump of the power accused of abuse, and obstruction of Congress for his actions in the Ukraine, in the third-ever impeachment of a US President.

Pelosi is now indicating they will not turn the bill of indictment to the Senate, or the name of impeachment managers, to the upper chamber terminates the process, how the negotiation is carried out.

Coinciding with this position, the Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-NY, has asked that the Senate may subpoena documents and witnesses, which do not appear in front of the house. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., replied that the Senate’s role is not to do, what to do to the house in what he called “the rushed the most, the least thorough and the most unfair indictment request in modern history.”

Pelosi struck back and Monday morning, tweeting: “The house can not choose our charge-Manager, until we know what kind of study the the Senate to perform. President Trump blocked his own witnesses and documents from the house, and of the American people on false complaints about the house process. What is the excuse now?”

Pelosi has to keep track of criticism for pushing house Democrats indictment on a fixed schedule, to just fall, the sense of urgency to the final vote. McConnell has accused her and fellow Democrats to get “cold feet.”

Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Mich., Pelosi defended on “Fox News Sunday”, noting that President Bill Clinton was accused of in the middle of December and Manager were not appointed until Jan. 6 of the following year, after the house returned from vacation. She suggested that the current process would not move, not faster, even if Pelosi took quickly.

Earlier in the show, Marc Short, chief of staff for Vice President, Pence, claiming that Pelosi would, ultimately, move forward and allow the Senate to conduct a study.

“You will yield, there is no way you can hold this position,” he predicted.
