“What you did was treasonable, OK? It was treacherous,” he said author Doug Wead for his upcoming book, “Inside Trump in the White house: The True story of His presidency.”

“The interesting thing from all this is that we caught you spying on the choice. You were spying on my campaign. So, you know? What is it?” Trump said.

“I’ve never said this, but the truth is, they got caught spying. You were spying,” said Trump, who added, “Obama.”

In the year 2017, Trump tweeted that he felt that the Obama White House “had tapped into my veins” in the Trump Tower. He later said that he don’t mean it literally, but that he felt that his campaign was being spied on.

Attorney General William Barr said earlier this year, he was on the search, whether the “incorrect monitoring” occurred in the year 2016.
