Trisha Yearwood has revealed to the People, that they swore off bodysuits forever after a wardrobe malfunction that happened in front of a massive concert crowd.
The incident tool, while she is touring with her husband Garth Brooks, and 16,000 fans were present. She wore a three-snap bodysuit under a skirt, and things don’t go as planned.
“I walk out on stage and I feel one of the photo pop, and I thought: ‘Okay, I have two more,'” Yearwood recalls. “I took a step or two, second snaps. And by the time I’m on the stage, the third is blown.”
Yearwood did not know what to do, because they could not reach under her skirt to the correction in front of such a massive crowd. Fortunately, her body stayed relatively in place for its performance.
“I just did my show and when I left the stage I was like, ‘Oh, my God, my body — I am never wearing a different, in my life!'” Yearwood says with a laugh.
“I don’t even remember my performance, because I was so worried about my clothes,” she adds. “Not more bodysuits for me; I’m done with that.”
Yearwood has toured with Brooks for three years, from 2014 to 2017, on his huge comeback to the world tour. They did more than 400 shows and sold more than 6 million tickets.
Yearwood debuted with her first studio album in more than a decade last month. Let’s face it celebrates Frank Sinatra’s music, Yearwood with putting her own spin on the world famous songs. Yearwood tells People that she has been waiting for the record for twenty years.
“I’ve always standards, and no one sings them better than Sinatra. I am honored to get the chance to pay tribute to him and the songwriters in this timeless classics,” she says.
