Tourist boat went missing off the coast of Malaysia
A boat with 31 persons on board, including 28 Chinese tourists, are missing off the coast of Borneo. That has the Malaysian navy Sunday let me know.
The ship left Saturday around 09.00 hours (local time) from Kota Kinabula, the capital of the eastern province of Sabah, and was on the road to the tourist popular island, Pulau Mengalum, reported the coast guard of Sabah and the island of Labuan. Around 09.50am hour the boat was reported missing.
Poor weather conditions hamper the search. “We are looking at a strong wind and a rough sea, and have the support of the air force asked for,” said the agent.
