The municipalities of Boom and Rumst have to dance festival Tomorrowland permission to from next summer again two festivalweekends to organize, just as in 2014 for the tenth anniversary of the festival. This allows the organization to meet the increasing demand for more tickets, including from local residents.
The first festival is scheduled for 21, 22 and 23 July 2017, the weekend following the second festival. The programming will be the same, the intent is to get more people of the Tomorrowland experience to be able to enjoy. Between the two weekends there will be a local festival to be organised where the neighbors can taste the unique atmosphere of the festival.
“The demand for tickets, flags, tours of the residents of Tree and Rumst increased year on year’, let Tomorrowland know in a press release. ‘That attention makes us happy, because we feel like we are worn by both municipalities. On the other hand, fishes a very large group of inhabitants next to tickets. And that is frustrating, for them and for us.”
For provincial domain De Schorre, where the festival takes place, several compensatory measures. “The most important action point is the introduction of a maximum number of days for major events. The number of large events is xed to a strict maximum of seventeen days per year, the six festival days of Tomorrowland included. In addition, there is a better distribution of the type of events.’
