Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, the fans, an update on their COVID-19 diagnostic.

The actor, 63, took to Instagram on Thursday night to ensure the fans that he and his wife, Rita Wilson, are doing well.

“Hello, folks. @ritawilson and I would like to thank everyone on here Down-Under, who’s taking good care of us, ” wrote Hanks in the caption. “We have a Covid-19 and, in isolation, so we don’t spread it to someone else.”

Hanks was announced, the couple is diagnosed on Wednesday, saying that he and Wilson, who is 63, has been tested, observed, and isolated.”

Update went on to say, “There are some people for whom it could lead to a very serious illness. We are taking it one-day-at-a-time. There are some things we can all do to get through it by following the advice of the experts to take care of ourselves and each other, isn’t it?”

Hanks seemed to be in good spirits as he made reference to a movie in the mail, the packaging of the “you know what, despite all of the recent events, there’s no crying in baseball.”

The picture was a simple one, to show the Hanks, with his arm around Wilson’s, both on t-shirts, jeans, and baseball caps.

Wilson shared the same photo, and they thanked the fans for their support in the caption.

“So grateful for the outpouring of prayers, love and support,” she wrote. “It means so much, and strengthened us.”

The messages were filled with love and good wishes from the couple’s famous friends.

“Hold on, you two,” said Gwen Stefani.

Kris Jenner said: “I am praying for you and sending love to both of you!!!!!”
