‘Today’ meteorologist Dylan Dreyer reveals a pregnancy after a miscarriage

There is a sun on the horizon and NBC’s Dylan Dreyer.

The “Today” show meteorologist, has on Wednesday announced that she is expecting her second child, following the revelation earlier this year that she had suffered a miscarriage.

“I’m pregnant,” Dreyer said that, in the second hour of the “Today” reveals that baby No. 2 is due in January.

Dreyer, 37, who welcomed a son, Calvin and her husband Brian Fichera in 2016, and opened up about her miscarriage in April and, shortly after, a fellow “Today” show co-host Jenna Bush Hager announced her third pregnancy, and is the co-anchor Hoda Kotb revealed she had adopted a second little girl.

“I’m heartbroken, and I’m going to work on the “Today” show, and will be happy, smile, and laugh, and pretend that nothing’s wrong,” she recalled. “We [the emotions] go to the bottom and you’ll get through this day, I’m going to go to the doctor and they will do an ultrasound scan. The baby is still in there. It is a fluke bleeding.”

Dreyer maintained a positive outlook with the hope that her story resonates with other people.

“I just want people to know that, yes, I’m sort of going through it with you,” she said.

Dreyer and Fichera, married, in the year 2012.
