Senior White house adviser Jared Kushner said Tuesday that they presented a detailed plan for a ” merit-based immigration system, President Trump, with priority given to skilled immigrants rather than those with family ties to the United States
“I believe that the President’s position on immigration was perhaps defined by his opponents, what he is against as opposed to what,” Kushner said at the time 100 Summit in New York City. “What I’ve done is, I’ve tried to put together a very detailed proposal for him.”

Kushner announced that the new immigration proposal, the Trump will get this week or next, similar to the point-based systems in Canada, Australia and new Zealand, and the people will unite for strong wages and secure borders and the protection of humanitarian values.
“We want to protect our country’s humanitarian values. We want to make sure that we re-unifying families, and we want to do this in a way that our country competitive in the long term,” he said. “And my hope is that we can do to be really something which unites people around what we are for immigration.”

Kushner is denied, in the same speech, that he clashed with the White House staff member, Stephen Miller, of the add to be harder on immigration than the other, that the plan was concocted, with the help of Miller and Kevin Hassett, the Chairman of the Council of economic advisers.
“And I say that, If to agree that, if I can get Stephen Miller and Kevin Hassett, on an immigration plan, then peace in the Middle East is easily joked by comparison,” Kushner, relates to the Israel-Palestine peace plan he is working on.
“And I say, that If that, if I can get Stephen Miller and Kevin Hassett to agree on an immigration plan, then peace in the Middle East will be easy in comparison.”

According to the plan presented to trump, it will likely undergo some changes, and he will then decide when you go, Kushner said.

“It is very, very complicated, but it is a very interesting topic, and if we can solve it, I think it is a critical component for America’s long-term competitive advantage,” he added.
