Ex-President George W. Bush is embarking on the fundraising trail ahead of the midterm elections.

“While he prefers himself as a retired of the policy, which President Bush recognizes how important it is to keep the Senate and decided to help a few key candidates,” Freddy Ford, a Bush spokesman, said, according to Politico.

Bush is elections at a private event in Fort Worth, Texas, on Wednesday for incumbent Republican Rep. Hurd Is midterm, the search for his third term in 2018. Hurd is running for re-election in a district, the trump card lost the 2016 presidential elections.

On Friday, former Republican presidential campaign for Gov. Rick Scott in two separate events.
