Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.,struck on Friday morning, the “Israeli occupation” was a factor in the murder of the Israeli teenagers from what is described by Israeli authorities as a terrorist attack that took place earlier in the day.

Rina Shnerb, 17, was Hiking with her father and brother at a natural spring in the vicinity of the West Bank, when they were hit by an “improvised explosive device.” The brother was supposedly alive, while her father said, was conscious but still in hospital.

According to Haaretz, the Israeli army has not determined whether the bomb was hidden or thrown at them. A manhunt for the perpetrators was underway.

Tlaib expressed posted condolences for the slain Israeli girl in response to a tweet by the left-wing anti-Israeli occupation group IfNotNow, claiming that the “right drift of the Israeli and US governments in the situation less safe for Israelis and Palestinians.”

“This is absolutely tragic & terrible. My heart goes out to Rina’s family,” Tlaib wrote. “More than ever, we need the support of non-violent approaches to ending the Israeli occupation and ensuring equal rights for all. Extremism is not, innocent lives are in danger, brings us closer to peace.”

Tlaib recently in a feud with “real time” host Bill Maher after he blasted the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestments and sanctions (BDS) movement as “bulls— purity test by people who appear to be ‘awake’ but actually slept through history class.”

According to Tlaib called for a boycott of his show, Maher fired, she asks if Tlaib would BDS “boycott, 93% of their own party” to condemn because the vast majority of their Democratic colleagues voted for the motion.
