Tim McGraw revealed what pushed him to get in the best shape of his life.
The 52-year-old country star said in a new interview that it was an off-kilter reaction of a daughter, Gracie McGraw, who completely changed his perspective on health.
McGraw, who starred in the 2008 movie “Four Christmases,” and had weighed about 215 pounds at the time of the release of the film. When Gracie noticed her father looked in to the “big screen,” McGraw has decided to turn his life around and focus on his health.

“I’ve had it for a while,” McGraw told men’s Health. “I was in the prime of my life, and I wasn’t about to take advantage of it.”
McGraw to cut out the alcohol, “truck stop food”, and cheeseburgers from his diet. The popular country star, then walked in each morning, and eventually recorded, running, and weight lifting into his workout regimen.
Focusing on my physical well-being is not only is my body healthier, it’s made me healthier at all levels,” McGraw said in a recent Instagram post. “It’s moving day-to-day, and exercising regularly, it is a pebble beach, and that has a knock-on effect, improving the way you eat, sleep, and others, both personally and professionally. It has made me a better person to be around.”

McGraw’s intensive training, which would eventually lead the singer to shed 40 pounds. McGraw said that the physical activity has even improved in his music career.

“I was able to use my whole body to sing, my legs, my ass,” he said in the interview. “And to have more control over these things in my own voice.”
